Data Retention Policy

This Data Retention Policy describes how long Recruitmee stores different types of data related to our mock interview platform.

1. Account Data

Includes: name, email, login credentials.

Retention:

• Stored while your account remains active
• Deleted within 30 days after account deletion

2. Interview Data

Includes:

• Audio recordings
• Transcripts
• Scoring, feedback, and notes
• Interview settings and metadata

Retention:

• Stored for 30 days to allow users to review or download
• Automatically deleted after 30 days
• Users may request immediate deletion
• We may retain anonymised analytics data indefinitely

3. Technical & Log Data

Includes:

• Error logs
• Device/browser type
• Usage analytics
• IP address (non-precise location)

Retention:

• Up to 90 days for security and troubleshooting
• Automatically deleted afterwards

4. Payment Data

Recruitmee does not store card numbers. Payments are processed by third-party providers (e.g., Stripe).

We may store:

• Transaction IDs
• Billing history

Retention:

• Up to 7 years to comply with UK tax and accounting laws

5. User Deletion Requests

• You may request deletion of your data anytime.
• We will process the request within 7 business days.

6. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
